About Me:  Hi there! I'm Bella. I'm just over 2 years old, around 46 lbs. and am officially on the market to find my perfect match! I came into hart's care after an unfortunate encounter with a porcupine. I was adopted but unfortunately I just didn't see eye to eye with my new adoptive fur sibling so I'm back with hart in hopes of finding that perfect match.  ANYWAYS, on to the positives! (Get comfy... there's a lot.)
- I'm in LOVE with my foster siblings. They're the best dogs ever!  They make me feel confident and worry free.
- House training was a breeze.
- Crate training? Pleasssssssssse. Easy!
- Tiny humans? What's not to love?
- Looking for a running partner? I'm your gal because running is my forte.

My foster mom is helping me out with clicker training which is cool and I guess I'm doing pretty good with it! I have a lot of energy that I need help burning off, and will also need lots of cuddles because… well who doesn't. Not too much to ask for, right?!

Health Notes: Bella originally came into hart's care in April 2019 after meeting a porcupine and she ended up on the sharp end of the introduction.  Bella went straight into surgery for the removal of her full face mask of quills.   Adoptive parents for Bella need to be aware that while she has undergone surgery for the removal of quills, they can continue to migrate and erupt for up to a year.  Bella is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.

Behavior Notes: Bella is a lovely dog with a wonderful temperament and high energy. She is great with other dogs, but is bit cautious when first meeting them, so proper introductions are necessary. She would do great as the only dog in the home. She is wonderful with children and is very gentle with them. She loves cuddles and is very affectionate. She has not been tested with cats. She is house trained and great in her crate! Because we discovered that she was resource guarding her food, she is fed in her crate so she can feel safe. Her foster mom is clicker training her, and she is responding wonderfully! She is great on leash and due to her high energy she needs a yard to run around and play in, and also mental stimulation to also help curb that energy. She loves one long walk a day. Bella has some prey drive, as she will chase ducks, geese and deer so she also is a slight flight risk. She has mastered her basic commands...now she just needs to find someone to love her forever!
