About Me: Hi. I'm Darla! On March 11th, hart took my mom into care because she was very pregnant. 4 days later, my siblings and I came into the world! I love my foster home but all my siblings are adopted... except me and I would LOVE to find my furever home! I have a few quirks but I know that with patience, you will see that I will be the most loyal and loving dog to my family. I am nervous about meeting new people, especially men, and currently I don't like being left alone. My foster mom tells me that I will learn that it is ok to be alone, but with 8 siblings, I have always had someone to make sure everything was ok. I am a super smart girl and love to learn new tricks. I also love to play chase with other dogs! So, if you have another dog that can play with me and teach me that the world isn't scary, that would be paw-some! I will be a big girl, my foster mom says, as I am already 45 lbs. at 5 months old! I sometimes forget my size and use my big paws to get your attention, but I am learning that isn't the best way to say hi. I am healthy puppy and have been spayed and microchipped already. I also have all my vaccines! If you think that I would fit into your family, please let hart know and they will hook us up!

Health Notes: Sweet Darla was born in hart's care and we can't figure out why she is still with us when all of her littermates have been adopted. The only medical issue with Darla was when she was a pup and she and her foster brother were playing a bit too rough and her zygomatic bone was fractured. Under the guidance of our vet partner, Darla healed up and has no marks/scars from her injury. Darla has recently been diagnosed with spay incontinence and placed on Stibesterol. Adoptive parents need to be aware that this medication will be ongoing. Darla is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.

Behavior Notes: Darla has started to show some fears with men, also she has separation anxiety with her foster mom. Right now, she is learning crate training to help with her anxiety. She loves to play with other dogs, and is enjoying playdates with other foster dogs. She is good with children.
