About Me: Hi I am Ellie!! I was rescued by hart not that long ago and now I am ready to find my forever home. Everyone says that I am super healthy and I have had all of my shots so far, am microchpped, and even spayed too!! I am just a puppy and maybe that's why they call me "high energy". Yup, that's me. I am full of energy and super fun. I like to run and jump and play and hide and seek and bring you shoes, and a whole bunch of other things!! I also like to do fun things like play with toys and nibble on fingers and dig in the yard (which I have learned is not such a good thing to do!). Also, I am REALLY friendly. I like people, even kids, and other doggos. I am not sure about cats, but I bet they would be fun too! And, you guessed it, I am extremely smart! I am already house-trained, crate-trained, and I am even learning to 'sit and stay', but thats kinda hard when there are so many things to do!! I am also an expert snuggler. I love to cuddle on your lap especially when I am dog tired from a long day of fun. Last but not least, I am ever so lovable! Just look at this face!! All I really want is a lovable home filled with lovable people. That would be just perfect!!

Health Notes: Ellie came to us in great overall condition.  She is a healthy, happy and active puppy who is ready for her forever family.  Ellie is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.

Behavior Notes: Ellie is a puppy and she acts like it which means high energy! She is very active so an active home would be great for her. She loves the speed of a run but gets easily distracted by new smells and sounds. She needs walks or runs to help tire her out. She is great with kids and she loves toys. She does nip like a typical puppy and she is currently learning that toys are better than hands to chew on. She is good with other dogs, and she has shown no prey drive, so even though she has not been around cats, the foster home feels she will be good with them. She is good with kids, but should always be supervised as she can get a little too excited and start to nibble in her play with them. She is great in new situations and with strangers. Ellie is house and crate trained and leash training is in progress as she is quite the puller. Ellie does show some fear sometimes and when she is fearful of something, she gets low to the ground and "army crawls" but she has gotten a lot more confident while in our care, so her fears are getting better :)
