About Me:  Did you know that if you look up "Good Boy" in the dictionary, you'd see my name? That's right, it'd say "Gadget" along with a list of my many great traits like being ridiculously good-looking, having great taste in treats, having unlimited energy and being a professional cuddle buddy! I still have a lot to learn, but what's important is that I have a good foundation. I'm shy, so I'll look to you for reassurance. Proper introductions to other animals and humans make me feel much safer. Despite being fearful, I have no shortage of personality. Be patient with me and you'll have a best friend for life! Pro tip: win me over - and tire me out - with LOTS of walks and play!

Health Notes: Gadget came into care from a partner shelter after he suffered from a broken leg. He was a brave boy and recieved sugery to repair his broken bones and is healing nicley. He is doing well with his physio and at this point, we have no reason to think he wont make a full recovery. Gadget is up to date on DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is neutered and microchipped.

Behavior Notes: Gadget is a medium to high energy puppy. He is a timid boy, who can be shy around new people, and especially in new situations. By letting him initiate what happens he can warm up quickly. He is untested with cats. He needs proper introductions with dogs to make sure that they get along. He has been around children and has been very shy with them, so again slow introductions are needed but he has shown no aggression at all. He walks loose on leash, unless something scares him then he'll try to flee. He is good in the crate, except when he's left alone. When left alone and bored, he will chew on the odd item, likes shoes, pens, etc. So, when left loose, we recommend that anything loose and chewable should be put out of sight. He loves to shred things with his front teeth. He loves to pick up sticks on walks and chew on them as he walks. He is learning his basic commands and he is going through basic puppy behaviors. His house training is a work in progress but is coming along very nicely. He's a sweet boy, and doing really well.

Think you have found your furever friend?
