About Me:  Woof woof! I am so excited you came here to see me. That makes me so happy!!! Sometimes I get so excited I can't even sit my waggly butt down….but give me a treat and I'll do anything you say - sit, shake paw, stay - you name it! My foster mom says I'm a sprinter, not a marathon runner, so after a good dash I can slump on the couch like a potato. She also says I'm "learning my size." I admit… sometimes I'm so curious and excited - I can be a bit clumsy! However, I want to be a good boy. So, if you can show me how to stay calm (and give me treats to remind me why I am being so good), I promise I can get along with anyone.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. Woof woof! I'm going to find my tennis ball - It's the best thing ever…almost as good as a bone! And those tennis balls makes my foster mom laugh…. especially when I roll on my back and wiggle. Duty calls…See you later!

Behavior Notes:  Kaydo was showing fears when he first came into our care. He was freezing on walks and refusing to budge. With time, he has developed into a wonderful dog and his fears resolved. He does have the potential to show these fears again once adopted, but with work and patience to help him regain his newly found confidence, he'll return to being the calm awesome boy he is showing his foster family he can be.

Health Notes:  Kaydo learned that porcupines can be prickly play-mates, as he was brought into hart's care because he had been quilled.  The quills were surgically removed and during his recovery has gained some healthy weight.  Because quills can migrate for a long period of time Kaydo's adoptive parents will need to be aware that quills may erupt for months to come.  Kaydo is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is neutered and microchipped.
