About Me:   Oh, hi there! I'm Kellie, but my foster family calls me a 'princess' often, and you can too if you'd like! I would like a furever home with a big comfy bed to share with you (or you with me, I guess). I would prefer to be the centre of attention, but I could live with older kids, and maybe a smaller dog-savy dog too, if they could teach me to play better. Small animals like rodents seem like way too much fun, and it would be best if you didn't have any pets like that as I don't think we'd get along.  Just to let you know, I'm also told I'm smart, since I know a lot of commands, like: sit, down, stay, wait, come, take, look, touch, up, sit pretty, roll over, shake, high five, and spin! If I sound like your best friend, please talk to strangers for me! *Yaaaaawn*, one last thing, sorry.... I know I said I'd like you to share your bed with me, but I'm really fine in a crate as well. I mostly sleep all day anyway. Back to bed I go, until you apply to adopt me! Zzzzzz

Behavior Notes:  Kellie is a great dog that has a few quirks. She can be selective with other dogs so she needs proper introductions and would do better with dogs smaller than her.  She loves to play with her frisbee and loves long walks. She is not good with small animals in the home so no rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.  Kellie loves children but can push small children over so older children are recommended. Her foster home has been doing training with her and she knows some pretty awesome tricks along with basic commands. She's a smart girl.

Health Notes: Kellie was originally from our rescue community as a stray. She was adopted but came back to hart as her owner was no longer able to provide care for her. Kellie was diagnosed with spay incontinence but is now on medication that has this under control and also has some food allergies which manifest in itchy skin, but we have found a diet which keeps Kellie scratch free and her coat has never looked better. Kellie is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.
