About Me:  The world can be a scary place for a gal like me... I've been through a lot in my short time, but I know you'll be patient and teach me that not everything is as scary as it seems. Do you have another dog? That's perfect! I love meeting and playing with new friends. In fact, being around other dogs helps me build my confidence and makes me feel comfortable. Once I know that I'm safe, I'm quite the cuddle bug and am happy to curl up and rest my head on your lap. Deep down I'm a brave girl, I just need a human like you with a nice, quiet home to show me the ropes.

Health Notes: This little girl was brought in from our target rescue community with an abscess.  She spent her first night at the vet and as outfitted with an abscess drain and flush.  It took a while but Kahlee's abscess was treated and she has recovered like nothing was ever amiss.  Kahlee is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.

Behavior Notes:     Khalee is a fearful little girl, who fear barks at things that scare her, like strange people, loud noises that startle her. She is mostly house trained, and is crated when home alone as she tends to have accidents when home alone. As she gets older, and is fully house trained she should be good to roam freely. Due to her fears, she would do best in a house with another dog, as we have learned that fearful dogs rely on other dogs to let them know what is safe, what isn't, and they takes cues from their confident partners. With Khalee being so young and this fearful there is a chance that she is fearful due to lack of socialization or she was born fearful. She needs a home who has lots of patience, who is willing to help her learn how to cope, and teach her that the world is a safe place.
