About Me: Hi! I am Madock. Like most of us, I have been working on a little winter weight and my hibernation tendencies. The warmer weather has my confidence up and my health in check so I'm ready to put myself out there and meet some new friends. That's pretty convenient since my natural tuxedo ensures I am always ready for a party! My ideal gathering is pretty low key, with comfy seating, family friendly (including kids and pets) and a giant buffet. Although I am a quiet gentleman with good manners, I am always down for some karaoke when the timing's right. Being around people puts a smile on my face but I'm not afraid to fly solo either. If you are interested in being my plus one or getting your family on the VIP list, you should apply to adopt me! Can't wait to team up on a little rendition of "Who Let The Dogs Out"!

Behaviour Notes: Madock is crate and house trained. He walks great on a leash and sits on command. He is definitely "food motivated" and has a power lick to show you his love. He is a quiet boy and would do better snuggling at home rather than running a marathon!

Health Notes: When Madock first came into hart's care, he didn't move very quickly or feel very good. He was a whooping 48 pounds which is huge for a Boston Terrier x. After a few tests by an amazing vet partner, we discovered that Madock had Cushings Disease due to a benign tumour on his pituitary gland. This was causing him to urinate excessively, drink too often, feel lethargic and gave him a droopy pot belly. Through various tests and medication adjustments, he is now a comfortable 35 pounds which has allowed his personality to shine! Madock will have Cushings Disease for life which will require daily medication and bi-yearly testing but it doesn't stop him from being a fun loving, gentleman that would be perfect for any low key family. Madock is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is neutered and microchipped.
