Health Notes: Miami came into hart's care
along with her mother (Montana) and siblings when she was about a
week old. She has not demonstrated any health issues and has shown
a voracious appetite. She will be up to date with her standard
puppy vaccinations (DACPP, Bordatella), antiparasitics and will get
her microchip and spay before being adopted. As she is not yet
old enough to receive her Rabies vaccination currently (this
vaccination can be administered at 4-6 months of age), that
vaccination will become the responsibility of the adoptive
parent.
Ideal Home: Miami is a typical puppy who
will require patience and continued positive re-inforcement
training. An adopter will need to know about puppy behaviors
and expect accidents as house training will be a work in
progress. An adopter will also need to be aware that puppies
use their mouths a lot in exploring their world and that puppy
teeth can be quite sharp, ouch! Chew toys to distract them
from chewing on things they are not supposed to, is
recommended. Puppies are certainly cute but come with a lot
of work for the first couple years. The M-pups will be ready
to move into their forever homes at the start of April, adopters
must be willing to attend a hart vaccination party on the evening
of Wednesday April 7.
