Hi! I'm Quinley

  • Quinley - HOLD ON NEW APPLICATIONS
  • Mixed Breed
  • 8 months old
  • Female

Weight (approx): Currently I am 35 lbs but I am a puppy and still growing!

Energy: Medium

Children: Older

Dogs: Quinley should go to a home with another dog, but the other dog must be assertive, confident and a medium-large size. If Quinley is adopted to an only dog home, it should be to a home with previous dog experience and a willingness to socialize Quinely. She will require obedience and lots of exposure to other dogs (aka dog parks, obedience training, agility training, doggy day care).

Cats: No

Other Animals: No.

Health Notes:   This sweet girl came in from Parkland Bylaw. She came in with an aural hemotoma on her ear. This occurs when a blood vessel in the ear bursts and bleeds into the space between the ear cartilage and skin and is most commonly associated with trauma such as scratching, shaking the ears or bite wounds. This was treated and Quinley has fully recovered from this. Also Quinley came in with demodectic mange. Demodectic mange is caused by a tiny mite on the skin. These mites are normal and always present in small numbers but when a dog's immune system is compromised, the number of mites get out of control. When this happens there can be hair loss, scabbing and sores and the dog is usually itchy and uncomfortable. In Quinley's case, she has completely recovered, has her full fur coat back and is in good health all around. Quinley is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.

Ideal Home: Quinley is an energetic young puppy! She loves to play and run around. She would do best in an active household with an assertive, confident and a medium-large size dog. As a puppy, she would benefit from another dog around to show her the ropes. If Quinley is adopted to an only dog home, it should be to a home with previous dog experience and a willingness to socialize Quinely. She will require obedience and lots of exposure to other dogs (aka dog parks, obedience training, agility training, doggy day care).  She would love a house with a securely fenced yard for her to play in and but love to accompany you  on all of your adventures as walks and car rides are her favourite things to do, besides eating. She is a smart girl who is extremely food motivated. She is a loving pup who will make a very her adotpers very happy.
