Weight (approx): 78 lbs

Children: Rosco hasn't been around children
much while in care. He has meet a few on walks and gets excited and
jumps when greeting them but then is good once he calms down
Dogs: Yes
Cats: Unknown
Health Notes:
Rosco came in as an owner surrender from our target community. He
did come to us with a few minor wounds from getting into dog
fights. Since being in care he has been neutered and microchipped
and is up to date with his vaccines DACPP, bordatella and rabies.
He also received antiparasitics. Rosco is a big sweetheart. He
loves getting attention and will steal your heart when he gives you
his paw for more love!
Behavior Notes: Rosco is crate
trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He has learned sit,
down, shake a paw, high five, and is learning stay right now. He is
also learning more recall while outside on walks he is usually
really good at it. He is a very smart dog and picks up on training
quickly. Rosco can be timid when experiencing new places.
Ideal Home: Rosco would love an adoptive home
with lots of patience to train and work with him on his chewing and
playful behavior. Both humans in his foster home currently
work from home so he may need a slower transition into being
alone all the time if the adoptive home works out of the home full
time. A large yard would be ideal for this dog to run around in and
he would love to get multiple walks a day. Rosco can be a bit
mouthy and likes to play with his mouth and therefore small
children may not be a good fit for Rosco.
