Health Notes: Savannah came to hart's care from the Alberta Spay and Neuter Task Force's Saddle Lake clinic.  Savannah is healthy and in good condition and is ready to find her furever family.  She is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.

Behavior Notes:     Savannah is a puppy who has medium energy. She gets spurts of energy, but settles and loves to cuddle with her people. She is very intelligent, and is learning her basic commands quite quickly. She is crate trained, but hates going in on her own, so she needs to be enticed to go in, but once in she is fine. She only whines for a very short time but stops and is good. She has not been left loose in the house, as she is a puppy. Her house training is a work in progress again due to being a puppy, but it is progressing. She is good on leash, with a touch of leash reactivity, foster home has observed that it really depends on the dog she is meeting - if the other dog is reactive, then she is too, if the other dog is calm, she is too. She does well with dogs who are calm, and doesn't back down if another dog gets to be too much for her and is always in her face. We are unsure of how she is with cats. She has been around children, and was good with them. Currently she is only needing one walk a day, but as she grows the foster mom feels she'll need more than that. She gets excited when she is let out of the crate, but will settle down once she gets attention. She's an absolute doll, and make a wonderful family dog.
