About Me: Free cuddles! There, now that I have your attention...I'm Uno! I'm a laid-back boy looking for my forever family. As I said, there are no shortage of cuddles for you if you adopt me. I looove to cuddle people and other dogs. I'm usually mellow, but when you bring out my food, boy-oh-boy! I just can't wait. I'm learning to sit calmly and wait for my meal. I get excited when my foster parents come in too, and likely would for you. Most days I enjoy watching the world go by out the window and will perk my ears up if there's something interesting outside. I'm a pretty good boy all in all. I am crate trained (with some encouragement to go in comfortably), house trained, have great recall, walk next to you on leash, and know basic cues. We're still working on 'down' and 'stay', and I have attempted to go out the door a couple times but that's because my neighborhood is so fascinating. Everyone who visits my foster home says I'm the sweetest, nonetheless. I would love a home with another dog or just you. I think I'd be happy anywhere! Maybe you'll take me for walks in your neighborhood to explore?

Health Notes: Uno came into hart as a stray. He was a little thin upon intake but with some regular healthy meals, that is no longer an issue. Uno is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is neutered and microchipped.

Behavior Notes: Uno is a laid back boy who loves people, he loves to cuddle and get attention. He is a low to medium energy dog. Uno currently lives with 2 dogs, but he has started to show that he can be a little picky with his doggy siblings, so proper introductions are a must. What he wants most in a doggy sibling, is someone who will give him space, and not always want to play. He would also be happy just being the only dog in the home. He has been tested wtih cats and with proper introductions he does really well with them. He has now been around young children, and did great. He does need to wear a muzzle when going to the vet, as when he is over stressed, his hind end becomes sensitive, and he doesn't like being touched when stressed. He has gotten a lot better with the crate, loves the crate when the door is left open. He is great on leash, walks beside his handler. He loves to watch the neighborhood from the front window, his ears perk up as he watches the world go by but doesn't bark. He is fully house trained. He has great recall, and knows basic commands. He is a great dog all around.
