About Me:  Hi! I'm looking for my furever home and wondering if I might fit in at your house? I'm looking for a home with another doggy friend for me and a large, fenced, backyard that I can go running laps in...or maybe you want to take me on your daily run if you're into that? I would enjoy running every day and when you have those lazy days when you skip the run, we can just chill on the couch and that would be cool with me too. If you have kids, I think I would probably like them....as long as they play with me. Sometimes I get so excited that I might jump up and mouth my playmate but a quick verbal correction reminds me I need to settle down and not do that. My foster mom's been working on my crate training with me. I'm not sure that I'm enjoying it too much....it makes me anxious...but I'm still willing to keep trying. I'm house-trained though and I'm doing real well with my off-leash training and basic commands. My foster mom says I'm sweet and loving and incredibly loyal. Do you need a friend like me?

Behavior Notes: Zoey has no behavior concerns at this time. She is starting to act like a dog. She is pretty submissive to her foster home's resident dog, takes orders from the dog. She has started playing with the resident dog, so would be good in a home with another dog. She is showing some destructive behaviors however, chewing on cords and little things so that needs to be managed, and the foster home is working on teaching her what can be chewed on and what can't. Zoey has been displaying Separation Anxiety, and needs help to overcome this. She is quite curious, and quite confident.

Health Notes: Zoey was very thin when she came into hart's care, but has gotten used to a nutritious and abundant diet. Now a happy girl, Zoey is ready for adoption! Zoey is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is spayed and microchipped.

Think you have found your furever friend?
