About Me: Hey hooman! My name is Zorro. I almost passed you as I was speeding through the yard. Walks and runs are too fun! I am looking for a hooman who will treat me awesomely and let me stay with them in their home. Maybe one with another doggy like me - or a house with mini-hoomans! I LOVE the big backyards that I can cruise around in. I adore other pups as well but sometimes find that they can be sooo confusing and I can't read what they're writing, you know? Did you know that I LOVE chasing wildlife? So leashing me in those situations are best. I hope you don't mind, but I might be a little shy on my first day. If you give me a few days I will be the best doggy ever! And.. there's one more thing I don't like. My foster parents call them cars but I call them vroomies. You know, those things with wheels. Right now, I'm not the best of friends with vroomies or anything with wheels, but would make friends with anything else. I also like being in crates for just a short time. Otherwise, you might see the whiney side of me....but did you know that I can SIT and SHAKE A PAW? And if I do I get a ..a.. a TREAT. Ohhh boy, ohh boy, ahh yes! The best snacky ever. So, can you give me a forever home? Hope to lick you soon!

Behaviour Notes: Zorro is a medium energy dogs who needs exercise every day, whether it's a walk, or backyard time playing. He is good with other dogs, but sometimes he struggles reading another dog's body language and doesn't take the cue to back off, which can get him into trouble. But he's learning. He's good with kids. He is not tested with cats, and we are not sure how he'll be with them. He has some prey drive and likes to chase rabbits. He has some wheel reactivity where he'll lunge at anything with wheels, so he does need work with this. He does get stressed in some situations. When in a new home, he might have an accident the first day but otherwise is house trained. He's good in his crate, but if left in there too long with nothing to do he'll start to whine and scratch at the door. Mental stimulation is a very good idea for him like giving him things to do when he's home alone. He is leash trained but is a bit of a puller, so a front clip harness is recommended for him. He would do great in a house with another dog and / or kids to help keep him occupied and play with. He loves being outside, so a roomy backyard would be a dream come true for him.

Health Notes: Zorro came to hart from our target community as a healthy and happy young man. Zorro is up to date with DACPP, Bordatella, Rabies and is neutered and microchipped.
